On the internet, there are many posts that state "Interlake Chemicals was sued by the State of Washington. In fact, this is an outright lie, and you can verify by taking a few minutes and call the numbers below. This is just false information plastered on the internet by so-called competition or those that are threatened by our presence.

For the State of Washington, there are 2 numbers to call as well as the web site to go to:

1.) 206-464-6684 (Attorney General's office) this number is to verify that Interlake Chemicals has NEVER been sued by the state of Washington. In fact, Interlake Chemicals has never been sued by anyone, anywhere. If our company was what is stated on the INTERNET, wouldn't it make sense that we would have several lawsuits against us? You can call this number and ask the person who answers the phone "has Interlake Chemicals ever been sued by the state of Washington?" The answer will be "NO".

2.) 360-902-8762 (direct line for Cheryl) this is to verify Interlake Chemicals ARE registered in the state of Washington to conduct business. Just call her and ask "is Interlake Chemicals registered with the state of Washington to do business there?" And give her the file number: 70014064. The answer will be "YES".

WOW...what a show in New York! The International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show held at the Jacob Javits Centre in New York, NY fron November 8 - 10, 2009 was fantastic. This year Interlake Chemicals had the best turn out ever. Sure Step was a huge "HIT" at the show. Because this was our 4th consecutive year attending this trade show, people were lining up at our booth to test the Sure Step in action. We had an actual treated floor you could walk on to see the amazing benefits of our number one selling Non-Slip product (Sure Step) in the world, and what an impression we made at this years show. Dustin Hapka wins 1st race in the World of Outlaws series. Interlake Chemicals is the proud sponsor of Dustin and his racing team. Another great individual is hospitalized after slipping and falling in his own home. Oscar-winning British Actor and film director Richard Attenborough is in a London hospital after slipping and falling in his home, banging his head and falling into a coma. Once again, Interlake Chemicals had another successful trade show at the ASSE show in Las Vegas June 9 - 11, 2008. The response to our Sure Step product had safety engineers lining up at our booth, and once again, Interlake Chemicals was the only company showcasing it's NON-SLIP chemicals at this very prestigous event.
